Separating the decisions within this combined plan
Plastic Surgery Turkey assesses every clinical element independently before considering one itinerary. Abdominal and waist contouring is assessed independently from teeth, gums, bite and the suitability of twelve veneers.
Medical history, medicines and travel dates are reviewed for each treatment; the package does not make one service automatic because another is requested.
Deciding on one stay or staged care
The teams decide whether recovery, dental appointments and lipo care can fit one visit without compromising either plan.
A combined booking may be adjusted after examination when safety, healing or timing calls for a different sequence.
Recovery instructions that do not compete
Compression and mobility needs must be reconciled with dental aftercare, eating advice and appointment timing.
Use the more cautious instruction where advice overlaps, and keep time for first reviews before arranging a return flight.
Itemising every part of the written offer
Separate lipo zones, dental assessment, veneer scope, temporary work if needed, garments and reviews.
The offer should also identify tests, anaesthesia where applicable, hotel, transfers, medication, reviews and exclusions.
Questions from you
These questions help you ask a hospital or clinic for a clear written treatment plan. They do not promise a particular method, device, follow-up arrangement or payment responsibility. Plastic Surgery Turkey is an independent information, marketing and enquiry platform, not a healthcare provider or medical-tourism intermediary. With your consent, an enquiry may be shared with an authorised healthcare partner.
What is each part of the plan intended to correct: fat, loose skin, muscle separation or contour?
A written plan should name the problem being treated rather than rely on a body-contouring label. Liposuction removes fat but does not reliably correct loose skin. Heat-based tightening such as J-Plasma/Renuvion has its own heat-injury risks and is not a substitute for the skin removal of tummy tuck, arm lift or thigh lift. A hanging abdominal apron still requires separate discussion, as does rectus-muscle separation. Source: ASPS liposuction safety.
How will fluid balance, blood loss and operative time be kept within a safe plan?
Ask how planned suction volume, fluid replacement, lidocaine dose, anaesthetic time and your own risk factors are being managed. More than five litres is commonly treated as a trigger for additional planning and monitoring, not as a universal safe ceiling or a target. The written plan should explain when the scope would be reduced or staged instead of treating several requested areas as automatically suitable. Source: ASPS liposuction safety.
How are seroma, wound opening and skin loss recognised and treated?
ASPS includes fluid collections, impaired wound healing and heat injury among liposuction risks. A seroma can feel like a wave beneath an incision: a small collection may be reabsorbed, while one that persists may need aspiration; if infection develops or the collection threatens the skin, drainage may be needed. A separating wound or blackening skin can signal tension, smoking, infection or impaired circulation and should not be treated by closing it at home under a dressing. The plan should state the use of drains, compression and review date. Fever, unpleasant smell, a wound opening or rapidly increasing swelling should be reported without delay. After I return home, who follows a wound problem or suspected clot, and who pays for extra treatment?
Before overseas cosmetic surgery, the NHS recommends agreeing where reviews happen and what further surgery and return travel could cost; travel insurance commonly excludes surgical complications. It uses 5–7 days after liposuction or breast surgery and 7–10 days after tummy tuck as travel-planning windows, while individual clearance belongs to the surgeon. A painful swollen calf needs urgent assessment. Sudden breathlessness or chest pain is an emergency, even without calf symptoms. This page does not say that any partner pays for those items. Before veneers or crowns, how will decay and gum inflammation be ruled out?
Ask for the gum and tooth assessment to be completed before teeth are prepared. Pocket depth, bleeding, bone support, decay and cracks can affect whether a veneer or crown is appropriate. Inflamed gums should not be treated as a cosmetic detail that can be ignored in the written plan.
How will veneers or crowns be adjusted to my bite?
Ask how contacts and jaw movements are checked before cementation, particularly if you clench or grind. If a night guard is advised, confirm the timing, cost and follow-up separately. A change in shape or length can alter function even when the colour looks satisfactory.
If a veneer or crown fails after I go home, what follow-up and costs are agreed?
Get the route for review, replacement work, travel and any insurance clarified in writing. The NHS warns that travel insurance usually does not cover elective-surgery complications abroad. A manufacturer record does not pay for a new flight or local treatment, and this page makes no promise that a partner will do so. Source: NHS advice on cosmetic surgery abroad.

How this treatment-package information is clinically reviewed
PlasticSurgeryTurkey.org prepares package information with a patient-first editorial process. We compare practical explanations with current regulator, society and specialist guidance, then check the details that can change with anatomy, medical history, technique choice and the individual plan. Our aim is to make Istanbul treatment travel easier to understand without presenting website information as an examination, diagnosis or personal treatment plan.

We revisit these pages when clinical guidance, package scope, recovery advice or the questions patients bring to consultation change. The goal is to stay clear about what is typical, what can vary from one person to another, and which decisions should be made with the responsible specialist after an individual assessment.
