Male urology assessment before booking
Best penile implant package Turkey is planned after a private urology assessment. For a semirigid penile implant, device model, infection-risk reduction and recovery arrangements need explicit consent. Messages and photographs can support first contact, but do not replace medical history, examination or informed consent.
Share previous procedures, medicines, bleeding tendency, diabetes, infections and symptoms. Active infection or unclear findings can postpone treatment or require different assessment.
Recording the specific procedure in writing
A semirigid penile implant plan should name the device model, infection-prevention measures, anaesthesia and postoperative review. The confirmation should name the technique or model, anaesthesia, tests and clinical sequence.
The treating urologist decides the procedure after examination; a package name or photograph does not determine a safe technique.
Goal limits and realistic expectations
It is an erectile-dysfunction treatment after clinical assessment, not a penile-enlargement procedure or a guarantee of sexual outcome.
Discuss alternatives, limitations and what happens if findings differ from the initial plan. A particular cosmetic or functional result is not promised.
Recovery, warning signs and discreet aftercare
This surgical pathway needs wound, pain, activity and device-use instructions; fever, drainage or wound change needs prompt assessment.
Increasing pain, fever, notable bleeding, pus, difficulty passing urine or another acute symptom needs prompt local medical assessment. Privacy should never delay necessary care.
Travel and written care scope
The written scope should state the named implant model, hospital care and follow-up, rather than imply a filler, an inflatable device or revision. Hotel and transfers support travel arrangements; they do not replace medical observation or care after return home.
Fitness to fly depends on recovery and review. Price applies only to the written scope; extra treatments, revisions and follow-up are included only when expressly listed.
Questions from you
These questions help you ask a hospital or clinic for a clear written treatment plan. They do not promise a particular method, device, follow-up arrangement or payment responsibility. Plastic Surgery Turkey is an independent information, marketing and enquiry platform, not a healthcare provider or medical-tourism intermediary. With your consent, an enquiry may be shared with an authorised healthcare partner.
What assessment confirms that a penile implant is appropriate for my erectile dysfunction?
A prosthesis is considered for erectile dysfunction after other treatments have failed or are unsuitable. It is not cosmetic lengthening and does not restore orgasm or ejaculation that has been lost for another reason. The individual discussion should separate rigidity from libido, orgasm and ejaculation. Source: EAU erectile-dysfunction guideline.
Which erectile-dysfunction treatments have been tried, and why is a malleable or three-piece implant proposed?
EAU guidance considers a penile prosthesis when other ED treatments have been ineffective or unsuitable, so the outcome of tablets, vacuum treatment and injections should be recorded first. A malleable rod remains semi-rigid and has fewer moving parts. A three-piece inflatable device may appear more natural while deflated, but its pump, reservoir and mechanical failure create separate revision considerations. Neither device is implanted as a cosmetic penis-lengthening operation. Source: EAU guidance on erectile dysfunction.
What device record, infection plan and revision pathway will I receive?
Ask for the exact prosthesis brand and model and the record supplied after surgery. An infected prosthesis usually requires removal; replacement in the same operation is not guaranteed. Mechanical failure is a separate reason for revision, and a manufacturer warranty does not itself fund infection treatment, removal or travel. Source: EAU erectile-dysfunction guideline.
If bleeding, infection or a device problem appears after I return home, who follows it and which cost is whose?
An infected prosthesis requires prompt review. Removal is a separate operation, and a manufacturer warranty does not automatically cover removal or another journey. Before overseas treatment, the NHS advises confirming further-surgery and return-travel costs in writing; travel insurance commonly excludes surgical complications. This page does not promise partner-funded device removal. Sources: EAU guidance on erectile dysfunction, NHS advice on cosmetic surgery abroad.
